The day I see an article about Jennifer Aniston without a mention of Brad Pitt will be the day I sprout wings and fly. And not bird wings, but full-on robotic airplane wings. It is just absolutely impossible for anyone to write about Jen without name dropping Brad, no matter what the context.

OK! Magazine at least has a positive spin on the former couple. And that’s nearly a first. They’re pointing out that Jen told them she’s completely over Brad – and why shouldn’t she be? It’s been four years. Despite what most tabloids will have you think, I bet she’s been over him for a good, long while.

Jennifer Aniston’s showdown with ex-husband Brad Pitt seems to have had a profoundly peaceful effect on her. The day after their first post-divorce collision at the 81st Academy Awards, with four years and another woman between them, the actress told OK! exclusively that the critics are all wrong.

“I am totally over Brad,” Jen, 40, told OK!.

In fact, Jen is completely dedicated to her musician beau John Mayer, she explains, and is a fan of his music.

“John just wants to play the guitar,” she explains to OK!. And, given John’s penchant for writing songs about his woman, she doesn’t mind letting him do just that.

… “I deeply, deeply care about him,” she has said. “We adore one another. And that’s where it is.”

Reese Witherspoon was "humiliated" by her divorce from Ryan Phillippe. The "Walk The Line" actress has admitted she reached the lowest point of her life when she split from the "Breach" actor in 2006 after seven years of marriage.

She said: "It was very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions."

Paris Hilton has been told to stay single by her mother. The blonde beauty has been given some words of wisdom by Kathy Hilton, who believes her daughter feels under pressure to constantly have a boyfriend.

She said: "My dating advice for Paris would be just to take your time. It is OK to be alone. You don't have to always be with someone."

Justin Timberlake says John Mayer is the love child of Macy Gray and a bear. Justin was about to launch into an impression of the "Gravity" singer when he likened John's vocal talents to a cross between Macy and a growling bear.

Appearing on the premiere of talk show "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Justin - who is good friends with John - said: "I imitate stars because I love them. How would I describe John Mayer? He sounds like if Macy Gray and Smokey Robinson, or actually, Smokey the Bear had a love child."

Will Smith has contacted the original "Karate Kid" for advice on his remake of the iconic film. The 40-year-old star - whose 10-year-old son Jayden is set to star in the film - is a producer on the venture, and was keen to get some tips from Ralph Macchio.

Ralph, who played Daniel LaRusso in the 1984 film, said: "It was very cool. He called and said, 'Would you mind getting on the phone with my son?' I felt like Yoda speaking to a young Luke Skywalker, you know, from the 'Star Wars' movies."

Everyone wants a deal. And if you're going to want one on a pair of UGG Australia brand boots (actually a U.S. company called Deckers Outdoor) you better be pretty careful about where you buy them.

UGG announced this week that they are suing 15 alleged purveyors of counterfeit UGGs. Some of the sites selling fake UGGs actually ship from China. That they actually ship is a victory by itself. But what you get is an obvious knock-off that scarcely resembles something from the trendy line of boots, some of which can set you back a couple of hundred bucks if you buy them legitimately.

Even though some of the sites are particularly sketchy -- with prices in foreign currencies and descriptions in some strange English variant -- bargain hunters still send their money to them.

UGG has a site dedicated to helping people sort out fake from real. A limited group of retailers and an even more limited group of online sellers legitimately carry the pricey UGG brand, making them a prime target for counterfeiters.

If you really need a pair of UGGs this year, and you don't want to get stuck with a phony, make sure you're buying from a legitimate seller.
